We have been doing a lot of ring work, participated in two clinics, and started a little bit of trail riding. His disposition and training are just as represented. I couldn't be more pleased. I didn't think she would be that dark, it's pretty and she has a lot of white under that long hair. She has been rolling around a lot too so she is probably helping the baby turn, but she is doing good. Jenny T. He fit right in with the horses & they have become fast friends. My older horse would not come in last night thinking Mickey was still outside - though he was already in a stall in the barn! The girls are crazy about her...they put her on a leadrope and take her to eat the good grass in our front yard. She minds so well! Her coat is almost completely shed out and she looks lovely. The girls have ridden her a couple of times and she's just wonderful. She gets so excited to go! I LOVE a horse with a big motor and can't wait to ride her some myself. She knows her cues and executes commands flawlessly. I've never had a horse I could give lessons off of and swore I wouldn't let my kids ride a gaited horse because they will never have to learn to post a trot or collect for a canter...but she is all theirs. Anyway, I will let you go, I just wanted to say hey and let you know how happy Allegra is in her new home. I love her dearly and she is bonding quite well to me. He is the joy of our horse family always happy to see us and ready to be pet and played with. I have been ground driving him and he is now doing walk, trot, back, and stand still. I have also taught him how to bow, he is like a big dog. He has come into the house and his best friend is a 14.1 hand quarter horse cross. I have attached some pictures of him so you can see how much he has grown. Just wanted to drop a note to u about caramel delight (AKA karma). I bought her 1 year ago and she is wonderful addition. To our family and perfect for me and my 4 yr old daughter. I took her trial riding last weekend for the first time ever for 3 hrs and she out lasted the other horses and was very well behaved.
