Manx A Manx cat is widely know for its most distinguishing feature: no tail! The Manx has a short back and long hind legs that make them appear "rabbit-like". It has a short, dense coat that comes in a rainbow of colors. They can be known as a “one person cat” or the “family cat.” My Manx: SIMBA - Gray tabby tomcat. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ MYRA - (a.k.a. "Miracle") She was the runt of the litter from the start. At 3 weeks old, her mother abandoned her. We found her half-dead. We got her warmed up and eating some milk mixed with flour. Another barn cat, Tiger, adopted her and raised her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Also, TIGER, BLACKIE and SHEBA photos coming soon! My Manx kittens are raised in the barn, and by 6 weeks old, have been introduced to horses, dogs, other cats, ducks & ducklings, chickens & young chicks, and rabbits. They are highly efficient "mousers" and by 8 weeks old the kittens can be seen hunting and most have caught their first mouse. These kittens are handled as soon as we find them, sometimes momma decides to have them hidden in the hay! A LIMITED number of Manx kittens are available for sale. Prices depend on whether the kittens are show or pet quality, as well as color and gender. (No Manx kittens are available at this time.) |
