Manx Kittens

I had so much interest in the kittens that I put them on my website.

See more information below...

So far we have found new homes for TWELVE of these kittens.

I own several adult Manx cats, that help us in the barn by eliminating pests such as mice and other rodents.  These cats are born without tails.  They display a degree of affection and playfulness even in adulthood that is uncommon to most cats.

My Manx kittens are raised in the barn, and by 6 weeks old, have been introduced to horses, dogs, other cats, goats, ducks & ducklings, chickens & young chicks, rabbits, geese, pigs and more.  They are highly efficient "mousers" and by 8 weeks old the kittens can be seen hunting and most have caught their first mouse.  These kittens are handled as soon as we find them, sometimes momma decides to have them hidden in the hay!

SIMBA is our resident tomcat.  He is a brawny Manx, with a very attractive gray tabby color.  He is laid-back and friendly, personality traits he passes on to all his kittens.  He currently has kittens from two litters that will be available, with more on the way.

MYRA - (a.k.a. "Miracle")  She was the runt of the litter from the start.  At 3 weeks old, her mother abandoned her.  We found her half-dead.  We got her warmed up and eating some milk mixed with flour.  Another barn cat, Tiger, adopted her and raised her.

TIGER is the only "long-tailed" cat that we keep on the farm.  She is 1/2 Manx, her mother was a full Manx cat.  She is by far the best mouser we have.  (TIGER's kittens pictured at left)

QUEEN BLACKIE is the dominant female of all the cats, and she rules the roost.  Not even the barn dogs challenge this feline.  She usually has two litters of kittens each year, with 4-5 kittens per litter.  Blackie is very affectionate and loves to let all of the children visitors pet her.  Blackie currently has a litter of kittens that will be available soon!

SHEBA is our newest Manx female.  She is a gorgeous orange and white tabby.  She is very friendly and playful, and can often be found playing in the grass with Myra.  When she's not playing, she's basking in the sun or stalking mice in the tack room, her favorite hunting ground.  She is due to have her first litter of kittens this spring.

*~Kittens Available~*

These kittens are not free.

I have kept the mothers year round and feed name brand wet and dry food.  The mothers are kept up with the kittens during the first 2 weeks the kittens are alive.  The kittens are wormed and handled and cared for each and every day.

These kittens will make excellent pets.  They are litter box trained and very friendly with people.  Each and every kitten is handled every day by myself and my children.

So far we have found new homes for TWELVE of these kittens.
