Comments: "Cyrus" is a strikingly gorgeous palomino pinto Half-Arabian gelding. He has a very pretty dished face with excellent conformation and good feet. He moves out well at the trot and canter, with a nice, flat-kneed trot and floating canter. "Cyrus" has 30 days of professional training and has the potential to go anywhere. He is very gentle and easy to handle on the ground. He is friendly and likes people. I would consider him green broke, but any capable rider should be able to finish him out. He's not crazy or wild. Just doesn't know anything. He comes with Half-Arabian papers, his sire was FC Casino Royale (Roll of the Dice x PKH Shalane).
His sire FC Casino Royale is nominated for the 2010 Arabian Breeder's Sweepstakes (http://secure.arabianhorses.org/perl/AHA/sweepstakes.cgi?func=individual&type=NS&bltr=F&gndr=S), and I've found several of "Cyrus" brothers and sisters doing very well on the Arabian circuit, even some at the Scottsdale Arabian Show.

This horse would be best suited for anyone wanting a project for local showing, including fun shows, mounted games, or hunters. He is not spooky or high-strung. He is gentle, friendly, and likes to be around people. He would make a nice 4-H or Pony Club mount with some additional training. He would make a good trail horse. He is still considered GREEN, but a capable youth would be able to finish him out with the help of a qualified adult or trainer.
